| The MMCL
Parent's Association is an active, enthusiastic group of parents,
responsible for many of the fundraising and "fun raising"
activities at school. Money is raised through the Gift Wrap Sale,
the Pie Sale and the Holiday Bazaar, all run by parent volunteers.
Recently, the PA has signed up with www.schoolpop.com,
a web-based shopping resource with numerous well-know vendors who
donate a percentage of all sales that occur through the website to
MMCL. We encourage everyone to log on and do their shopping through
this site!
The PA sponsors numerous events such as baseball games, theatre trips, swim parties, guest authors and program enrichment activities in the classroom. All parents are encouraged to participate and opportunities are available at every level of commitment. In addition, new ideas about fund raising or sponsored activities are always welcome. Meetings are held several times a year in conjunction with a guest speaker or special school event to facilitate attendance. The outreach activities and welcoming attitude of the PA has attracted a large percentage of parents to the various committees. We are proud of the high level of participation and dedication shown by the parent-body.
